About Spirit Hospitality 

The origin of Spirit Hospitality stems from a family owned lake resort and campground in rural North Dakota called The Spirit Inn. Rob Uehran, President of Acquisitions and Development, was inspired by witnessing the hospitality of his mother and the drive of his father in the creation and success of their business. When Rob moved to Colorado in 1994 with the motivation for hotel development, he was in search of a partner to make his vision a reality.   He met Bill Albrecht, the now CEO of Spirit Hospitality.  Bill was already in business as the owner of Albrecht Homes; a custom home and land development company. Shortly after the two were introduced, they combined their expertise and built their first hotel, the Comfort Inn in Loveland, CO, in August of 1998.
