ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Gather supplies and set up banquet room as described in the Banquet Event Order and as instructed by Banquet Captain to include linen, service ware and glassware. Attend stand up meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations. Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner. Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Banquet Captain to ensure consistency throughout the banquet. Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function. Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction. Once banquet is complete, clear and, if necessary, reset banquet rooms according to Supervisors specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the following function. Line out supplies as directed for future functions as needed. Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking banquet shelves with supplies. Lifting Thirty (30) pounds maximum. Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 100 lbs. Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling. The DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Downtown is looking for a vibrant sales professional who has a passion for catering sales, relationships, and team building. We are looking for someone who is driven, creative, and has a strategic mind in terms of evaluating business opportunities for the Hotel. This position will be responsible for all catering segments for the hotel.
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms, public areas, back of the house areas such as linen room and laundry areas, according to company procedures and at a level that meets or exceeds company standards.

ASSISTANT CHIEF ENGINEERDuties Include: Dedicated to supporting maintenance technicians by working in a safe, customer-focused manner; and must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric. Develop and design solutions to difficult problems, manage outside contractors and be on call for emergencies. Handle multiple projects and daily activities, meet deadlines and develop plans on how to accomplish departmental and maintenance goals. Knowledge of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing Ensure that all safety programs and procedures are followed. Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs and good working relationship with operations Develop business plans and provide guidance and direction for the successful implementation of those plans. Help to develop, set and track budgets Understand and implement safety programs. Successful candidates must have the ability to provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performance, provide associates with written performance appraisals including discipline and up to termination. Mentor all maintenance employees by motivating and providing direction to help them achieve their goals and made a consistent effort to go above and beyond. Project planning and cost analysis Promotes and conducts good housekeeping. Responsible for adherence to Company training programs. Monitor the Company’s Quality program in the station and ensure conformity and implementation of standards. Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, state, local, and Company safety laws, regulations, policies, and procedures on site and at any remote job site. Coordination of safety matters with Company Safety Officer. Maintain site morale and customer satisfaction by keeping the customer in mind and by keeping the interests of the company at heart. Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Experience with the following: Automated Conveyor Systems and Controls, Electrical and Electronic principles, Blueprint and Electrical Schematic reading, CMMS Programs, Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PDM) procedures, Industrial Electrical, Industrial Controls (PLCs), Industrial Electronics, Industrial PC literary, HVAC, Plumbing EOE/AA/M/F/D/V
Responsible for the preventative and repair of the hotel’s mechanical/electrical systems and equipment, and for the general maintenance and upkeep of the physical
