The Manager, Fulfillment, is responsible for the daily operations and ensuring timely and efficient fulfillment of goods and services for Guest Services and other Property Marketing Partners. The Manager, Fulfillment ensures proper departmental performance and metrics are established to readily support all business initiatives. The Manager, Fulfillment, will supervise, manage, mentor, and motivate team members, in addition to the responsibilities listed below. This person will enable effective stakeholder collaboration with other departments and vendors to achieve best-in-class service levels.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the overall operations of Guest Services which includes product inventory control, equipment inventory control and maintenance, and department supplies. Management of day-to-day operations to support a 24/7 environment, which includes strategizing, and planning for promotional events, and scheduling, Coordinates and oversees all activities and development related to product and equipment placement and setup for promotional events, preventive maintenance schedules for equipment, inventory control of all products, supplies, and equipment. 

2. Oversees the effective transport and distribution of promotional products in all redemption areas as well as take down, restocking, and end of day inventory counts and tracking. Staging and installation of equipment which includes promotional kiosks, computers, card printers etc. to support all promotional events and daily operations. 

3. Strategize with the Promotions and Guest Services leadership team on the planning and execution of gift events by providing relevant information such as product specification, inventory count and product staging.  

4. Ensures thorough understanding and full compliance with all Guest Service internal controls and safety protocols. Ensures gaming and safety procedures are adhered to and provides guidance and training to department personnel on operations. Coordinates regularly with Fire and Safety partners to ensure staging is within safety guidelines. 

5. Partner with vendors, Promotions, and our Procurement departments on the coordination involved with the delivery and return of promotional items. This includes completing and maintaining records of delivery packing slips and bill of lading for accounting records. 

6. Create and maintain production data and reports for accounting purposes as outlined on existing internal controls, policies, and procedures and for data analysis to support leadership in implementing effective strategies for future promotions. 

7. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and assumes other responsibilities, duties, tasks and assignments that contribute to the mitigation or response to any public health emergency. 

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.   Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.  Makes hiring decisions and designs individual development plans with succession planning in mind for all key roles. 

Education/Experience/Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.   

  • Minimum three (3) years supervisory experience required. 

  • Minimum three (3) years customer service experience required. 

  • Minimum two (2) years casino experience preferred. 

  • Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above. 

  • Warehouse management experience preferred.  

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred. 

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations

  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license. 

  • A qualified candidate/employee must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the company’s insurance carrier.
