As a Restaurant Manager you will:

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategy to inspire your associates to deliver exceptional service.  You have a strong food and beverage management background and an obvious passion for hospitality. 
• Enable innovation and drive results. Get involved in food and beverage marketing programs, artfully leverage revenue management within tight margins, driving profit to the bottom line with solid financial controls.
• Hotel operations management generalist position that supports Front Desk (including Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, AYS, and Concierge/Guest Services), Rooms (including Housekeeping, Recreation, and Laundry), Food and Beverage (including Restaurants, Bar/Lounge, and Room Service), Event Operations (including Event Services, Banquets and Event Technology). 
• Understands brand standards and operations requirements for performance in each of the discipline areas.
• Assists in supervising an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space.
• Attends all pertinent meetings (e.g., Staff, Forecast, Pre-Cons, Department).
• Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
• Ensures knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations are up to date.
• Supervises daily shift operations and ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures.
• Supports Housekeeping and all related areas in the absence of the Director of Services or Housekeeping Manager.
• Supports Engineering and all related areas in the absence of the Chief Engineer.
• Deals with all guest complaints that require a managers intervention
• Supports all areas of the Front Office in the absence of the Front Office or Front Desk Manager.
• Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.

Fundamentals

• 2+ years on employment in a related position is preferred. 
• Hospitality knowledge in food and beverage is expected. 
• To be successful in this role, you must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally in English with associates, guests, and leadership. 
• You must be able to deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
• You will regularly use a computer and various software.
