Under the direction of the Manager, IT Operations, the Audio Visual Technician - IT provides in-depth technical design, installation and support for all audio visual (A/V) systems. The Audio Visual Technician - IT provides training and ongoing support to end users and manages the day to day enterprise requests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Set-ups, tests and operates a variety of A/V equipment including, but not limited to, microphones, speakers, projectors, video screens, and video monitors.

2. Performs necessary maintenance and repairs of all equipment and expedite maintenance issues as necessary to appropriate service vendors.

3. Transports, set-ups, removes and operates A/V equipment for onsite meetings and events.

4. Operates digital signage and audio software to meet enterprise requirements around music genres, volume and input/outputs.

5. Provides technical support for personal computer (PC) and peripheral devices, as needed.

6. Supports Audio and video streaming platforms to ensure correct content is being delivered to the appropriate areas.

7. Tracks and maintains inventory of A/V equipment leveraging a centralized asset management database.

8. Performs onsite and remote testing for the Yaamava’ Resort & Casino and all Tribal locations.

9. Documents troubleshooting and resolution steps via the existing knowledge base program to reduce resolve time.

10. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

Education/Experience/Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of audio-visual related experience, which includes working directly with projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and LCD/Plasma displays.
  • Experience working with digital signage software such as Industry Weapon, Crestron, Orange Door, and SpinetiX is preferred.
  • General technical aptitude in audio visual technology, computers or networking.
  • Requires knowledge of network hardware and software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure that a non-technical end user and/or senior executive can understand.
  • Ability to create a positive and professional business relationship with internal and external clients.
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
  • Ability to work any assigned shift (day/swing/graveyard).

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations

  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
  • A qualified candidate/employee must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the company’s insurance carrier.
