About This Job

Purpose: The Guest Services Manager will be a liaison between the hotel staff and guests, facilitating positive experiences and overseeing recovery from negative ones. This position is responsible for meeting, greeting and escorting all VIPs, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure. The Guest Services Manager is responsible for executing delivery of amenities and special requests, ensuring all preferences are met while delighting and exceeding guest expectations.

Position Overview: The Guest Services Manager is responsible for responding to guests' requests and special needs. The Guest Services Manager is responsible for coordinating VIP Amenities, and a liaison between guests and the Executive Office, Housekeeping, Room Service, Concierge, Front Office, Reservations and Sales.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Guest Relations

  • Offer personalized & heartfelt greetings, warmly welcome VIPs, returning guests, group organizers, recovery guests, etc.
  • Inspect VIP guest rooms prior to arrival ensuring proper IP status and proper placement of all amenities/special requests
  • Prepare and inspect show-rooms for site inspections and property tours
  • Maintain a diligent vigilance of activity in the lobby, constantly looking for ways to assist guests or front desk staff
  • Oversee hotel guest experience in public spaces including but not limited to the lobby, pool, fitness center, and F&B outlets
  • Have an expert knowledge and understanding of guest room functionality for all categories including the Guest House
  • Resolve and recover guest issues from daily incident log
  • Review all upcoming arrivals for the immediate future and coming weeks being especially well-versed on all arrivals the day of
  • Ensure proper profile notes are entered and guest requests are executed; verify upgrades and room assignments are appropriate to particular guest
  • Oversee assigning and distribution/delivery of all guest amenities and welcome/profile letters


  • Previous management experience in an upscale, high volume, and fast paced customer service position preferred.
  • Luxury Hotel experience highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of front desk and reservation operational procedures and related systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative.

Compensation: 50,000-55,000
