*Responsible for management and accuracy of group reservations.
*Responsible for forecasting and reporting support.
*Help establish proper rates through competitive shops, help set group ceilings, target rates.
*Correctly build and enter all group and contract blocks, rooming lists and create personalized group reservation links.
*Monitor cut-off dates, release unused blocked rooms in a timely manner and control all reservations against the blocks built.
*Answer and field any incoming calls pertaining to group reservations, blocks, billing and cancellations.
*Effectively communicate all inventory levels to help the overall strategy of the hotel to maximize RevPAR and hotel goals.
*Audit forecasted group rooms against the reservation system at least 3 times a week.
*Assist in developing, implementing, monitoring and controlling all TPG and Marriott reporting and forecasting to assist in meeting/exceeding the overall Hotel goals.
*Enter Wholesalers/3rd party/LNR and group overflow reservations as needed.
*Prepare and distribute short range forecast and daily reports to all departments (10 day forecast once a week and OTB reports).
*Conduct rate shopping of comp set and present findings and recommendations.
*Present ideas expectations and information in a concise well organized way.
*Help establish measure, monitor and effectively evaluate processes, policies, and procedures as well as insuring compliance with brand standards.

From the early 1930s well into the 60s and 70s, Downtown Nashville was the place to be for shopping, accommodations and entertainment. With curious attractions like Harvey’s department store, the veritable who’s who of patrons to the historic Maxwell House Hotel, and the always-hopping Printer’s Alley nightlife, Downtown played host to many unique and authentic Nashville experiences. Now as then, Downtown has seen a surge of patrons, sparked by a new, downtown convention center and Nashville’s flurry of growth. But the creative hub that Nashville is quickly becoming is constantly battling the cliché that Nashville’s downtown became in the 80s and 90s. Makeready seeks to reclaim this identity by revitalizing the corner of 4th and Church as a destination and creative anchor, and to once again establish it as the cultural epicenter of this rapidly growing corridor.
