Pramukh Hospitality Services is a fast growing real estate company focusing on hotel, commercial and residential properties headquartered in Burbank, CA. We are aggressively seeking a General Manager for the Hampton Inn & Suites Los Angeles/Burbank Airport.

The General Manager (GM) will lead an experienced staff and an engaged hotel team in providing hospitality to guests in a brand leading hotel. The GM is expected to ensure superior customer experience; lead the staff as manager, coach and trainer; enforce Pramukh and brand standards; aggressively lead the hotel’s Sales & Marketing efforts; and ensure property meets its return on investment expectations.

General Responsibilities:

  • Optimize and maximize Guest and Associate experience.
  • Responsible for the overall success of the hotel, using strong leadership skills to drive revenue, maximize profits, and ensure quality.
  • Effectively manage and motivate associates to ensure achievement of overall financial results, guest and associate satisfaction.
  • Champion of the hotel’s internal and external communications and record keeping.

Primary Functions:

  1. Revenue:
    • Aggressively pursue revenue goals, effectively utilize yield management and revenue maximization tools, and prepare and manage the annual budget.
  2. Profit:
    • Effectively manage and control all operational expenses including labor, overtime, supplies etc., enforce PHS’s procurement guidelines, and seek and implement cost saving strategies.
  3. Quality:
    • Guest Service: Ensure that the hotel meets/exceeds PHS and Brand standards for guest satisfaction.
    • Training: Analyze service and quality issues, identify training needs, ensure implementation of training programs to optimize results, and adhere to PHS’s training guidelines and policies.
  4. Sales & Marketing:
    • Provide leadership support and direction to the sales team, take an active role in the preparation and implementation of the hotel’s annual Marketing plan, make sales calls to Key accounts, and capitalize on all revenue opportunities.
  5. Community Involvement:
    • Ensure good standing in the community by developing and maintaining relationships with the Chamber of Commerce, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, other hotels, local schools, local government and other community and civic organizations.
  6. Leadership:
    • Leading: Motivate, coach and train team members, set goals and hold team members accountable, and provide appropriate feedback, rewards, and recognition.
    • Work Ethic: Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal and team actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive, professional work environment, and adhere to PHS’s Standard Operating Procedures.


  • Hampton GM Certification or Hilton focused service Hotel GM experience.
  • Excellent proficiency in Hilton OnQ PMS.
  • At least 5 years of progressive hotel management experience with a proven record of successfully leading teams
  • Prior leadership over direct sales efforts producing at least 50% market mix of total revenues
  • Proven success in managing guest services and expectations
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication skills to convey information and ideas clearly, both oral and written, as well as effective listening skills to understand issues and work toward problem resolution
  • Intellectual ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc. from various sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
  • Financial acumen required to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic mathematical functions
  • Innate drive to achieve results, demonstrated through successful performance in prior leadership positions
  • Action Orientation to work efficiently and effectively toward property revenue and operational objectives. Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • Time Management skills to meet commitments across multiple departments and roles
  • Customer Focus to consistently deliver optimal employee and customer satisfaction for the hotel
  • Valid driver’s license for hotel’s location
