The selected candidate must have a flexible schedule and be available to work both AM (7am-3pm) and PM (3pm-11pm) shifts, including on weekends. Experience driving a manual transmission is preferred, but not required.

The Valet Attendant reports directly to the Front Office Manager and is responsible for fostering the company culture within the Valet department for the Embassy Suites. A Valet Attendant must ignite the human spirit by creating unrivaled hospitality experiences fueled by fun, enthusiasm, and compassion that challenges each person to unlock their own potential.

•Experience in driving/valeting cars highly preferred
•Ability to drive a stick shift (manual transmission) preferred
•Park guest vehicles and retrieve valet parked guest vehicles in a timely and courteous manner
•Ensure Valet area is maintained to the highest level with attention to detail
•Follow key control guidelines with guest room keys and guest's vehicle keys
•Accommodate all guest requests in an accurate and efficient manner
•Execute group luggage delivery/pick-up
•Care properly for guest's vehicles while driving and parking
•Answer and document all calls and requests for Valet and Bell assistance
•Ensure proper security of guest's vehicle keys and belongings
•Participate in Embassy stand-ups and meetings with enthusiasm and commitment to success
•Ensure that the Valet/Bell desk is attended at all times and that posting positions are maintained
•Utilize claim tickets to ensure appropriate deliver of vehicle
•Must be able to stand the entire shift and ensure timely retrieving/parking of guest's vehicles
•Must be able to stand and walk and continuously perform duties
•Ensure knowledge of hotel services, features, and amenities
•Must have a clean driving record
•Excellent customer service skills with a real passion for serving guests
•Enjoys interacting with guests and employees
•Flexible schedule as the ideal candidate will work a variety of shifts, including weekends
•Must possess high energy, professionalism and confidence
•Must be capable to successfully prioritize, delegate, organize, and multi-task
•Treat guests, associates, vendors and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation: $7.25 + tips (tip heavy position as self-parking is not an option at the hotel)
