Compensation: $18.00 per hour

The Ideal Candidate for this Position

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Formal education in Electronic Media and Information Technology
  • 2 years minimum experience in audio visual department, production supervision, and IT management/support.
  • Working knowledge of computer softwareto include MS Office and hospitality products.
  • Understand ing of AMX, Tandberg, Analog Way, IP audio control, and the audio-video industry
  • Working knowledge of IP wired and wireless networks including secure networks, VPN, VLAN, and the IT industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities for this Position

  • Operations:
  • Manage Presentation Technology (PT) operations of the Center for Leadership Excellence (CLE)
  • Coordinate with Conference Planning to assess and establish PT requirements for CLE customer and in-house events, including pre-event consulting with planners and/or clients as necessary to ensure optimal results
  • Serve as expert CLE PT operator as required during customer events and in support of staff-use equipment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries concerning support requests, systems status, and network connectivity. Describe the typical audio-video equipment that is used in PT applications. Educate the users of the conference rooms PT equipment in the use of control systems, networked environments, and video & audio conferencing
  • Outsource audio visual and technology rental equipment , services and repairs as driven by event requirements

Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

  • Manage and maintain CLE PT equipment and configuration, including daily monitoring via visual/physical inspection and through the Remote Monitoring System (RMS) (i.e. digital signage, video wall, projector bulb-life etc.), as well as verification of operational readiness in advance of all events.

Strategic Planning & Administration:

  • Systematize, document and maintain PT standard procedures to minimize variation and insure repeatability

Marginal Functions

Perform other job functions when assigned to ensure property/company goals and guest expectations are exceeded.

  • Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Technical Requirements:
  • Local applicants will be considered first.
  • Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Requires strong organizational skills.

Educational Requirements:
