The Front Desk Clerk is a member of the Front Office team. S/he are responsible for: maintaining and promoting hospitality at all times; welcoming and serving guests in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner, both face-to-face and on the phone. As part of this job, this individual is required to: demonstrate good computer skills; accurately handle cash and charges; stand for long periods of time; present a friendly, outgoing, energetic and guest service oriented demeanor.

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or GED certification and/ or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

Some computer skills preferred.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Duties & Functions:

Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Noble-Interstate standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.

Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes a clean & pressed uniform when working.
-
Comply at all times with Noble-Interstate standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

Complete all side work and cleaning duties per standards.
-
Must be able to prepare food items for guests.
-
Must be able to cater events.
-
Must be certified in food and beverage services.
-
Must be able to drive hotel shuttle to transport guests to desired locations.
-
Check all guests into and out of hotel in a friendly and efficient manner.
-
Confirm credit and payment method at check in.
-
Confirm full payment at check out.
-
Log all requests and confirm completion.
-
Review rooms inventory and House Count for availability and rates.
-
Books reservations for day of arrival or future stays.
-
Balance and prepare individual paper work for closing of shift.
-
Balance bank daily.
-
Conduct daily bank drop with a witness and according to standards.
-
Maintain and understand special guest programs and franchise related programs.
-
Run faxes, copies, etc. and charge guests as needed.
-
Distribute faxes, packages, and mail to guests for delivery or inform guest of receipt as necessary.

Check daily arrivals and mark reservations for any special requests.
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
-
Have thorough knowledge of outside venues and directions to each.

Full understanding of the Front Desk system for all guest services.

Perform other duties as requested by management.

Attend all training/ meetings as required by management.
