Minimum 2 years prior experience in hotel security preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills. Prior security or military experience preferred. Good computer skills.
The primary responsibility of a Security Officer is to protect the assets of the Company, help maintain a safe business environment, and monitor and enforce associate compliance to Company policies and rules of conduct. Responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and employees and the security of the hotel. Responds to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property. Patrol interior/exterior of hotel to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks, and undesirable conditions. Initiates preliminary investigations, responds to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
