A Day in the Life of a General Manager:
As our general manager you will be responsible for the daily operations of our hotel. You will have many opportunities to put your skills into practice, one of those being customer service; ensuring that our wonderful guests have the greatest experience possible is our focus, and you are the ring leader to a happy, healthy, hospitable atmosphere for both our guests and your team.
As a general manager many members of our staff will turn to you for information and knowledge to further perfect their abilities and skills; this is a great opportunity for you to not only demonstrate and communicate policies and procedures but also to inspire and motivate. You will be responsible for the management of personnel forms including: payroll, hiring, performance evaluations, etc.
This is a new build hotel. So you will assist with the building and opening process.
You will oversee the food and beverage operations to ensure quality service and standards while delivering a guest experience that is unique.
You will coordinate sales and marketing activities of the property, and use both your knowledge and financial spreadsheets to make budgeting and forecasting decisions, and review rates to increase revenue. Your productivity and promptness will be beneficial in this area and will help our hotel reach its full potential and the vision that we have.
You will come to know the great people that make up our staff and will meet with them regularly to set goals to help them better themselves as employees. With your welcoming and reassuring personality, you will demonstrate poise and confidence when interacting with the happiest to the most challenging of guests. You will empower your team to exude compassion, understanding, and professional playfulness, in order to accommodate our guests needs as they entrust the most important aspect of their getaway to our organization.

Must have 2 Years Hotel Management Experience
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Hotel or Business Administration
A Respect for Guest/Employee Confidentiality
A Drive for Leadership Communication Skills and a Compassionate Attitude
Must speak fluent English
