On the east side of the Cascade Mountains in sunny central Washington near Leavenworth, Sleeping Lady provides year round lodging, dining and full conference services for up to 200 guests. Individual travelers, as well, are welcome at Sleeping Lady.

Located on 67 pine forested acres beside the pristine Icicle River and beneath the Sleeping Lady mountain profile, the facility features year round recreation, and fresh, healthful cuisine.

Sleeping Lady is 121 miles east of Seattle, 190 miles west of Spokane and 34 miles west of Wenatchee's Pangborn Airport.

The Library - A cozy retreat with comfortable furniture, wood stove and handcrafted bookshelves. The Library offers privacy to study or prepare conference materials.

O'Grady's Pantry - The Pantry, at the entrance to Sleeping Lady, serves espresso, soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts from Kingfisher Dining Lodge, ice cream, beer, wine and spirits.

The Grotto Bar - An evening gathering place around a rocky fire pit for guests to relax over wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks. Seats 35. Seasonal outdoor beer garden and fire circle.

Kingfisher Restaurant and Wine Bar  - Beside Icicle Creek. A quiet place for reflection and to enjoy the river's edge.

Mountain and Road Biking. Many rides are available nearby, ranging from scenic paved roads to challenging single-track trails and an annual Tandem Rally at Sleeping Lady on Labor Day weekend.. Whitewater Rafting on the Wenatchee River. This Class III river is Washington's most popular for river trips. The season typically runs from April 1 - July 4.

Scenic Float trips on the upper Wenatchee River. A very relaxing way to spend a half or full day, offering frequent sightings of nesting birds.

Hiking. There is an endless variety of trails in the surrounding Wenatchee National Forest that includes the spectacular Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Day permits available at trailheads.

Fishing. A variety of fishing is available in the area including trout fishing in the mountain lakes. Fly fishing instruction is available in Leavenworth. Fishing licenses available at Der Sportsmann in Leavenworth.

Horseback riding. Hourly, half day or full day rides are available at several nearby locations. In the summer, horseback rides are offered adjacent to Sleeping Lady.

Hay Rides. Two local outfitters offer hay rides in their horse-drawn wagons.

Golf is available at the following 18 hole courses: Leavenworth Golf Club, Kahler Glen (Lake Wenatchee) and Desert Canyon (Orondo). The new Enzian Falls Championship Putting Course is open spring, summer and fall in downtown Leavenworth.

Cross Country Ski Trails:

Icicle River Trail: Ski right outside your door at Sleeping Lady to the popular Icicle River Trail with 7.5 km of groomed trails winding through woods, over bridges, and across open meadows along Icicle Creek. Leavenworth ski trails are groomed using a Bombardier 160 grooming machine with state of the art tiller and renovator, providing great skiing even in icy conditions.
Golf Course Trail: Two miles from Sleeping Lady on Icicle Road, this 8 km hilly trail offers fine views of the Wenatchee River, and the spectacular peaks above Sleeping Lady
