Support the Front Office Leadership Team and Director of Housekeeping in providing leadership, direction and motivation to the team members in the front of house and housekeeping departments. Ensuring the successful execution of daily departmental operations, the ultimate guest arrival and departure experience, and the successful execution of daily departmental operations and that property guestrooms, public space and employee areas are clean and well maintained. Responsible for all front of house and housekeeping functions and staff. Areas of responsibility include guest services (bell/door attendants), front desk, concierge, call center (Hive) and housekeeping. Strives to continually improve guest and team member engagement and maximize the financial performance of the front of house and housekeeping departments.
Set up, maintain and breakdown the food lines and serve scheduled meals to hotel employees, courteously and efficiently in accordance with hotel standards. Maintain the cleanliness, organization and sanitation of workstations, dining areas and equipment.
Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere by taking orders, preparing and serving alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and the full restaurant menu to guests, courteously and efficiently according to restaurant standards. Remember guest names, preferences and create innovative and invigorating drinks. Previous experience required, including food service (preferred). Excellent communication and guest service skills a must.
Responsible for creating a warm welcome at the entrance area, greeting guests by opening doors, calling for cabs or car service and assisting as necessary. Able to handle multiple tasks at once and excellent personal and communication skills required. Previous guest experience preferred. Must display confident, positive and polished presence.
The Chef de Partie prepares dishes in conjunction with the Sous chef and Executive Chef and is responsible for ensuring that standards are maintained for his/her section. It is a vital part of the position to keep food quality for both guests and staff to the best standard potentially possible. It is also vital to keep the staff moral high and so have a good working atmosphere, productivity and confidence level will rise with a highly motivated team. He/she is responsible for his/her professional appearance and will be expected display themselves to 1 Hotels grooming standards and wearing a full, clean uniform at the start of each shift.
This position is for culinary students looking to sharpen their skills in a high-end professional kitchen. Candidates must be organized and goal orientated; possess a solid grasp of basic cooking skills and techniques and have a passion for the culinary arts. He/she will work in all areas of production and prep work.
Responsible for attentive food and beverage service (think, perform & multi-task), along with the ability to deliver this service in a high volume atmosphere. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in casual/fine dining service, 2 years+, and comprehensive knowledge of food and wine preferred.
Supports the day-to-day execution of general ledger impacted processes, including support to clients as they work with and understand these processes. Performs accounting functions specifically in the areas of account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting and discrepancy resolution, general cashier and accounts payable.
Responsibilities include dish and pot washing, polishing silver, and taking proper care in storing dishware to minimize breakage.
