PART-TIME GUEST SERVICES AGENT JOB DESCRIPTION
The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Guest Services Manager while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, prior to arrival and throughout their stay. He/she is also responsible for maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with Aloft Chicago Mag Mile and Marriott standards, as well as the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. The Housekeeping Manager will lead the entire Housekeeping Department including Room Attendants, Housekeeping Attendants, and Housekeeping Supervisors. Primary duties must consist of administrative executive or professional tasks and job duties must also involve the use of discretion and independent judgment.
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for administering and coordinating housekeeping functions in assigned sections. Responsible for inspecting Guest Rooms and ensuring they are cleaned up to standards, assist Room Attendants as needed, provide necessary training. Responsible for assuming all Housekeeping Manager functions in his/her absence.
A Room Attendant is primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel, servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, stocking cart with room supplies, and replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures.
The Rooms Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Guest Services Manager and Housekeeping Manager while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, prior to arrival and throughout their stay. He/she is also responsible for maximizing room revenue, guest/employee satisfaction, and occupancy.
