The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the administrative human resources duties for three hotels and the corporate offices. Additional responsibilities include the coordination of staff recognition, employee relations, career fairs and training events.
The role of this position is to issue towels and linen to staff according to systems and the procedures laid down by the hotel management. Also collects dirty linen and towels use by guests and prepare for washing and wash linen in the washing machine. This position requires attendant to fold dried clothes and deploy to the designated rooms or area. Cleanliness of the laundry area is a must. Laundry must be done in a safe, accident-free manner according to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Interaction with Guests and Co-Workers must be conducted in a Service-Oriented and friendly manner.
A Bell Attendant is responsible for assisting guests throughout their stay in a friendly and professional manner. They make their presence in the lobby welcoming every guest this includes but is not limited to, assisting with bags, upkeep of the lobby area, opening doors, monitoring the Porte Cache/Driveway, and assisting Front Desk/Concierge in responding to guest needs.
Group Sales Managers are expected to sell the hotel to their assigned segment through group contracts. They are responsible for supporting their team members in the goal of making and exceeding the hotel’s monthly and yearly budget. He or She will be responsible for prospecting and research for new group business, making outside and inside sales calls, developing new accounts, negotiating agreements, writing contracts, creating net sheets managing groups, writing group resumes, providing weekly reports, collecting signed contracts, collecting deposits, collecting payments, Doing shop calls to keep up to speed with the competition, building relationships with travel partners, neighboring hotels, and hotel staff. To serve as a liaison with the community, support with inventory, amenity requests, developing new group marketing projects, and representing the hotel at Trade shows. If budget is not achieved on three consecutive months, you will be subject to a critical review.
As a room attendant you will assist in cleaning guest rooms and/or suites in a timely and thorough manner to ensure total guest satisfaction.
The House Person role supports the room attendants and services public areas to maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for completing accounting functions requested by the Corporate Accounting Manager in a timely and accurate manner, to include but not limited to: month end close, data entry, record keeping, file maintenance, deposits and provide financial reports for hotel and other administrative duties.
