• Usher (Recreation/Entertainment)

  Under the direction of the Theater Operations Supervisors, the Usher works to proactively interact with guests in providing information and assistance on all things related to the guest having an enjoyable experience at the Theater. Ushers help to ensure safety, help to maintain the cleanliness of the venue and engage with guests to assist with their needs before, during and after events.

• Lead Retail Inventory Receiver (Operations)

  The Lead Retail Inventory Receiver provides direction while supervising incoming deliveries to fulfill all retail and spa related locations. All inbound and outbound product is verified and maintained by the Lead Retail Inventory Receiver. This position has strong partnership and communication with the Retail buying team, Service Center team and store leadership team to help maintain a high level of accuracy in ordering and monitoring inventory levels. The Lead Retail Inventory Receiver is hands on in preparing inventory quickly and efficiently to supply all enterprise retail outlets. The Lead Retail Inventory Receiver is self-motivated, as this position is the heart of the enterprise’s Retail Department, and must have the ability to operate in a quick and efficient manner.

  Under the direction of the Centralized Scheduling Supervisor, the Centralized Scheduling Planner is responsible for setting employee schedules for assigned departments in order to meet anticipated demands. The Centralized Scheduling Planner liaises with designated department managers across the enterprise to ensure schedules are accommodating for adequate business volume coverage.

• Audio Visual Technician II, Resort Entertainment (Technology/IT)

  Under the direction of the Audio-Visual Supervisor, the Audio-Visual Technician II is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and repair of audio, lighting, and video equipment to enhance the live entertainment experiences and special events performed throughout Yaamava’ Resort & Casino venues.

  Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Senior Lighting Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, striking, maintaining, and repairing lighting production equipment to enhance the live entertainment experience and special events performed throughout the Event Center.

• Casino Manager on Duty (Table Games)

  Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Customer Experience, the Casino Manager on Duty (MOD) is ultimately responsible for the guest experience on the casino floor. The MOD has a span of control over all casino floor operations including the ability to hold management-level team members accountable for their respective departmental impact on the guest experience. Through the direction of The Office of the General Manager, the MOD will act on behalf of all casino resort leadership in their absence. This position possesses the authority to drive operational efficiencies through collaboration and enforcement of compliance standards.   Under the direction of Transportation Management, the Senior Traffic Control Specialist is responsible for directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, transporting passengers via commercial and VIP vehicles, and valet attendant duties. The Senior Traffic Control Specialist is also responsible for assisting leadership with the day-to-day shift operations of the Transportation department to ensure a seamless best-in-class service.

  Under the direction of the Seasonal Event Décor/Floral Manager, the Visual Design Specialist creates engaging and captivating visual designs used for décor and all design projects. This position supports department leadership by aligning with the department’s vision and coordinating the creative design, administration, compliance, and completion of horticultural projects within Yaamava’ Resort & Casino. The Visual Design Specialist also collaborates both internally and externally to ensure all designs and creative pieces meet enterprise brand standards.

  Under the direction of the Electrical Supervisor, the Electrician is responsible for performing complex and difficult preventative and corrective maintenance on Casino high and low voltage electrical systems and equipment.

• Hotel Reservation Agent (Guest Services)

  Under the direction of the Hotel Reservations Manager, the Reservations Agent is responsible for assisting potential and current guests with all room sales needs and inquiries while meeting the Forbes Travel Five Star guidelines. The Reservations Agent is the “voice” of the Hotel and the first impression for guests. The Reservations Agent provides Best in Class guest service through attentive and efficient room sales bookings/updates, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

• Lead Video Technician, Theater Entertainment (Recreation/Entertainment)

  Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Video Lead guides the installations of all video related production needs of the Event Center. This position supports production management in leading trainings and enforcing standards and procedures, and relaying communication within the production team. This role serves as the contact for any video/network production questions and serves as an expert for identifying possible problems within internal systems and ensuring proper trouble shooting. This individual holds responsibility for both programming as well as operating video equipment as needed, and will be able to quickly adapt or alter video programing situations based on events or performer needs.

  Under the direction of the HVAC Supervisor, the HVAC Mechanic is responsible for performing a variety of standard to moderately complex technical tasks related to installing, maintaining and repairing heating, cooling and ventilation systems across the enterprise.

Supervisory functions include a range of duties and responsibilities involving planning, organizing, and dealing effectively with employee management concerns. 

• Senior Cashier, Cage (Finance/Accounting)

  The Senior Cashier is responsible for the training of frontline Cashiers on all Cage windows. Senior Cashiers are responsible for evaluating the progress of all new hires during their training period. Senior Cashiers are responsible for promoting growth in the fields of customer service, inter-department relations, and departmental relations for all Cashiers. Under the direction of the Cage Operations Supervisor, the Senior Cashier is responsible for the overall smooth operation and training of the Cage and Cage Support area. They assist in ensuring all policies and procedures governed by the Gaming Commission’s Regulations (GCR’s) are implemented, enforced and adhered to. In addition, they ensure the San Manuel Entertainment Authority is in compliance with the Title-31 Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Patriot Act as it pertains to Tribal Casinos.The Senior Cashier, in collaboration with the Cage Operations Supervisor, complies with federal and state tax laws, as they pertain to tax withholding and information reporting on Forms W-2G, 1099MISC (W-9) and 1042S for patron wins and prizes paid.

• Food and Beverage Manager - Hong Bao Restaurant (Food & Beverage)

  Under the direction of the Restaurant Senior Manager, the Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall operation and profitability of assigned venues, which includes developing and maintaining well-performing teams and achieving financial and enterprise objectives. The Food & Beverage Manager is also responsible for maintaining proper inventory control (including equipment and supplies), maintaining consistently high-quality customer service, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, reviewing scheduling and staffing plans, preparing sales, inventory, personnel reports, providing dedicated leadership to the venue(s), and maximizing team member morale through leading by example. This position’s areas of responsibility include all bars and restaurants within Yaamava Resort & Casino at San Manuel.

  Under the direction of the Sous Chef, while working closely with the Chef De Cuisine and/or Executive Chef, the Junior Sous Chef supports culinary leadership team and frontline team members with daily overall kitchen operations for their assigned venue.   Under the direction of the Pastry Chef, the Baker is responsible for the daily operation of the pastry department including the preparation of baked products and pastries according to established recipes. The Baker will maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and ensure the proper usage of the pastry kitchen tools and equipment.

• Drop & Count Staff (Finance/Accounting)

  Under general supervision of the Drop & Count Supervisor, the Drop & Count Staff is responsible for verifying all Cages for the cold box count before the slot drop. Disburses cold boxes at all machines that are scheduled to be dropped per zone. Removes hot boxes from slot machines and ensures that all hot boxes are secured and accounted for. The Drop & Count Staff opens and sorts the contents of the table games, CDU, ATM and gaming machine drop boxes, which consists of counting currency and chips removed from the drop boxes and recording and accounting for the currency and chips. In addition, the Drop & Count Staff member accurately follows all policies and procedures, while ensuring compliance with the Gaming Commission’s Tribal Gaming Minimum Internal Controls (TICS) and the Gaming Commission Regulations (GCR), by studying the standards, adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.

• Director, Property Marketing (Sales & Marketing)

  Under the direction of the Vice President of Property Marketing, the Director of Property Marketing will oversee the direction and execution of property advertising, media strategies, PR, social media, and media analytics in coordination with Marketing Shared Services. This position will also oversee Multimedia and digital content creation for the property. Direct reports include Property Marketing Manager and Multimedia Manager.

• Lead Gardener (Engineering/Maintenance)

  Under the direction of the Floral Manager, the Lead Gardener, Horticulture & Floral oversees floral designs, assigns duties, and manages work flow in the floral department. The individual selected for this role is responsible for overseeing all interior plants and living wall on property, in addition to the upkeep of outdoor gardens and plants, in addition to leading a talented design team. The Lead Gardener provides creative and artistic guidance on projects to ensure consistent maintenance and floral beautification throughout the property by maintaining, watering, pruning, and dusting synthetic plants. Responsible for working on assignments independently if required. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, procedures, and guidelines.   Under the direction of the Slot Relief Floor Manager, the Slot Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating resources on the floor to ensure the highest quality service is provided to guests. The Slot Floor Supervisor promotes internal and external guest satisfaction during an assigned shift, by ensuring excellent service in their area of responsibility, coordinating department resources and partnering with other departments. The Slot Floor Supervisor provides timely and effective resolution to guest complaints and routinely observes and evaluates staff service standards.

• Training Specialist, Hotel Housekeeping (Housekeeping)

  Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping, the Housekeeping Training Specialist is responsible for the administration, coordination, and execution of training for Housekeeping. The Housekeeping Training Specialist conducts new hire hands-on training for front line team members as well as other assigned trainings for all levels of team members. This position ensures existing team members are up-to-date on guidelines, policies, procedures, Standard Operating Guidelines, work methods, and new product training. The Housekeeping Training Specialist also works with the Hotel Safety Specialist to train all aspects of health and safety compliance, as well as how to achieve a high level of customer service to maintain best in class service according to brand standards.

  Under the guidance of the HVAC Supervisor, the HVAC Mechanic II performs as a journey level HVAC Mechanic; a fully qualified working-level trade mechanic. This position performs skilled installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems. The HVAC Mechanic II is highly knowledgeable and experience with chilled water loop systems utilizing centrifugal chillers, absorption chillers, chilled/condenser water pumps, air handling units and cooling towers. Additionally, they have experience with the operation and repair of air compressors, heat exchangers, hot water boilers, and the building automation system. The HVAC Mechanic II works independently as well as in team environments, and always upholds a high level of service standards and health and safety compliance to ensure they are providing a best in class experience to guests and team members.

  Reporting to the Cage Operations Supervisor, the Cage Operations Technician performs preventative maintenance and is responsible for troubleshooting on multi-functional kiosks, ATM machines, currency counters, bank issues, money carts, cabinets and other various equipment.

• Cook II (Chefs/Kitchen)

  Under the direction of the Sous Chef, the Cook II (Advanced Line Cook) prepares cuisine items for guest consumption, utilizing only approved recipes. The Cook II is responsible for upholding directed cooking methods and ingredients as set by Food & Beverage/Culinary Management. This position maintains all food, equipment and kitchens to set health codes and casino standards. The Cook II maintains a positive, team oriented and accommodating attitude toward guests (internal as well as external), fellow team members and management, at all times. • Slot Technician (Slots/Electronic Games)

  Under the direction of the Slot Technical Supervisor, the Slot Technician is responsible for providing quality service to guests in the slot area, responding to technical service calls, and helping to keep the gaming floor clean and organized. The Slot Technician is responsible for troubleshooting machines and performing general maintenance tasks and repairs, including electronic and mechanical component repair, in addition to responding to floor calls while on shift. The Slot Technician may also be assigned to a specialized team such as Preventative Maintenance and Projects, as needed. The candidate selected for this role is also responsible for training new and current team members as designated.The Slot Technician also champions the goals and priorities of the Tribe in a manner that faithfully reflects and upholds the Tribes vision, mission and values.

• Prep Cook (Chefs/Kitchen)

  SUMMARYThe Prep Cook will assist the Junior Chef in the preparation of dim sum Chinese BBQ and wok station food, food orders as well as control production levels, to make sure recipes are properly followed. The Prep Cook will specialize in one or two types of authentic Asian cuisine food preparation and assure that all specialty food is of quality and is done in a timely and sanitary manner. The Prep Cook will assist the Junior Chef with preparation of weekly work schedules and daily break schedule for the Asian kitchen. Preference for specialty food including Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean and Japanese food as well as wok dim sum experience.

• Beverage Bar Cashier (Food & Beverage)

  Under the direction of the Food & Beverage Supervisor, the Cashier is responsible for taking customer food orders, collecting payments and making change for customers and employees. The Cashier is also responsible for balancing opening and closing banks at the beginning and end of each shift.
