The Accounting Manager is responsible for providing consistent leadership in the financial area of the hotel by supplying management with guidance and training. He/she is also responsible for focusing on the profitability of the business, maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring acceptable levels on internal control, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and safeguarding owners/investors assets.
Greets and registers guests, provides prompt and courteous service, and closes out guest accounts upon completion of stay, as well as ensuring the guest has an exceptional stay, to meet hotel’s high standards of quality.
Clean and maintain all corridors, vending areas, elevators and landings and service areas on guest room floors, ensuring hotel's standards of cleanliness. Provide linen supplies for Room Attendants and stock floor closets. Deliver and retrieve items requested by guests and Floor Supervisor.
The Manager on Duty is responsible for all hotel operations during evening shift hours, focusing on Front Office operations, proper guest follow-up, all other evening shift associates, and hotel safety/security. The Manager on Duty assists the Front Office Manager in all aspects of the department, including but not limited to operations, planning, budgeting, staffing, and payroll in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. When problems arise during this shift, the Manager on Duty will respond to all emergency situations, resolve guest issues and concerns, and ensure the safety and security of the hotel’s guests and associates.
