• Loss Prevention Officer (Security)

  Patrol all areas of the property; assist guests with room access. Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system. Lock property entrances when required. Conduct daily physical hazard inspections. Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required. Assist guests/employees during emergency situations. Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents. Defuse guest/employee disturbances. Call for outside assistance if necessary. Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents. Handle all interruptions and complaints. • Delta Boat Attendant (Recreation/Entertainment)

  Provide customer service in the areas of operations for various exhibits and shows. Operate attraction/event by assisting guests to safely enjoy their experience. Sell tickets to attraction/event by providing accurate information in a suggestive selling manner. Sell retail merchandise utilizing suggestive selling methods and maintaining displays as needed. Operate cash register and POS system to sell tickets or merchandise. Responsible for cash bank and deposits following established cash control procedures.   Receive, unload, and process deliveries and account for incoming freight based on invoice and receiving reports. Stage merchandise by department, mark appropriately for placement in facility, and deliver merchandise to appropriate department. Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs. Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy. Receive, store, ship, and deliver incoming and outgoing department packages and mail. Secure the receiving room and its contents, ensuring safekeeping of packages. • Events Manager (Meetings/Events)

  Responsible for preparing all event documentation and coordinates with Sales, property departments and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post-event phases of property events. This position primarily handles events of average complexity. Ensures their property events have a seamless turnover from sales to service back to sales. Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.

• Carpenter (Engineering/Maintenance)

  Build, install, and repair walls and partitions, including drywall, wallpaper, millwork/molding, and faux finishing. Install and repair finishes, such as laminates. Perform rough-in framing for doors, frames, windows, and cabinetry. Repair, maintain, and construct wood structures such as partitions, doors, furniture, and similar items throughout the property. Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls. At our hotels, Property Administrative Specialists work across departments (e.g., Guest Services, Engineering, Food & Beverage) to support administrative needs. Whether providing administrative support (e.g., prepare documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software), serving as the point of contact for clients and vendors, or acting as the liaison between the Sales Office and clients throughout the event process (pre-event, event, post-event), our Property Administrative Specialists get the job done. They are critical to ensure smooth operations throughout the entire hotel.

• Rooms Inspector (Housekeeping)

  Enter status of rooms cleaned. Complete checklists to report cleanliness and condition of each assigned area. Complete required Housekeeping paperwork. Identify room assignments and type of cleaning required for each room. Inspect guest rooms after being cleaned by Housekeeper. Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. • Steward (Chefs/Kitchen)

  Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor. Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment. Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock. Ensure clean wares are stored in appropriate areas. Use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes. Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing. Rack and spray all racked items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue. Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash silverware. Breakdown dirty bus tubs. Empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area. Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments. Dispose of glass in the proper containers. Break down cardboard boxes and place them and other recyclables in the recycle bin.

• Senior Sous Chef (Chefs/Kitchen)

  Accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations. Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced. Responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved.

• Event Experience Manager (Meetings/Events)

  Manages the execution of all aspects of events to include planning, day to day coordination and exit strategies. Serves as meeting planning advocate and liaison to all operational departments. Verifies on-site delivery of hotel products and services according to conference group plans resulting in a positive meeting experience. Utilizes software for generation of necessary program. Advises client on current status of events and function. Coordinates any changes necessary. Maintains program knowledge by attending planning meetings, conference calls, reviewing group resumes and banquet event orders (BEO’s) prior to group arrival. Partners with Conference planning team to verify issues are identified and resolved. • Kitchen Maintenance Technician (Engineering/Maintenance)

  Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues with little to no supervision. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Assure each day’s activities and problems that occur are communicated to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards. Display advanced ability to read standard blue prints and electrical schematics concerning plumbing and HVAC.   Our Utility Cleaners play an important role in support of a number of vital hotel functions.   Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms. Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities. Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Review and log preferences/traces in computer system. Contact members for pre-departure calls.   The Gaylord Hotels brand public relations manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution and development of the brand public relations strategy. They are a primary storyteller for the Gaylord brand and responsible for developing the proactive PR strategy for the Gaylord Hotels brand, inclusive of its six resorts, F&B outlets, group and meetings business, water parks, innovative special events and Christmas programming, and more. They will work closely with media and influencer partners to develop long-term relationships, build pitch strategies, draft and review press releases, and find opportunities to secure earned media placements aligned with brand priorities. They will work closely with brand and property stakeholders to align with local PR strategies and priorities and identify the most effective strategic approach. They will also be responsible for compiling clip reports and reporting out on efforts across the brand, communicating wins and opportunities with stakeholders across the organization.

Assess guest needs, inquire about contraindications, and examine skin, hair, or nails to evaluate condition, appearance, and appropriateness of scheduled service. Determine and advise guests on proper skin, hair, or nail care. Demonstrate, promote, and sell spa/salon retail products. Answer questions about general property information and amenities.
