Manages the daily functions of the department to maintain protection of property assets, associates, owners/guests and property. Maintains logs, certifications and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures. Trains staff in established emergency procedures and implements accident and fire prevention procedures. Focuses on maintaining owners/guests and associate satisfaction while achieving the operating budget.
Responsible for all front office functions and staff. Areas of responsibility include Bell Staff, Switchboard Operations, Guest Services/Front Desk and Retail/Gift Shop, as applicable. As a department head, directs and works with managers and employees to successfully execute all front office operations, including guest arrival and departure procedures. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.
Contribute to the success of the organization and sales distribution site by effectively using sales techniques and processes to convertprospective owners into purchasers as well as reload Owners. Support Sales Executives by performing sales closings as part of aTake-Over process or when the Sales Executive is not licensed to perform closings on their own. Develop relationships withprospective owners by soliciting and following up on referrals and leads. Cater the sales experience to the individual needs andpreferences of each potential owner, and follow through with the sales contract process to ensure that all required paperwork andlegally required documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain the customer relationship after the sale iscomplete to ensure continued owner satisfaction with the organization and to develop future business opportunities (i.e., reloads,referrals, additional sales). Provide mentoring, coaching, consultation and feedback to Sales Executives on a regular basis. May alsobe responsible for delivering specific training opportunities as required and directed by sales management.
Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area. Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering. Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms. Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items. Make beds and fold terry. Clean bathrooms. Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items. Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order. Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances. Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets in guest rooms and hallway.
