Compensation: $64,000 - $78,000, Control Remoto Híbrido, Tiempo Completo

Purpose: The Accounting Analyst II is responsible for specific assigned functions within the accounting business cycle as well as validating, streamlining, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of the accounting transactions. 

Essential Functions:

  • Supports Banking and Revenue departments, ensuring that accounts are reconciled in a timely manner and leads accounting projects to optimize benefits realization
  • Prepares, analyzes, and reviews reports and reconciliations
  • Compiles and records journal entries
  • Validates and coordinates accounting transaction processes; ensures that all activities post to the general ledger accurately
  • Leads the process improvement projects for all transaction processing projects
  • Supports functional teams in resolving technical issues
  • Ensures all validations are accurate and completed in a timely manner
  • Monitors accounting processes and identifies process improvement opportunities

Reporting Relationship: The Accounting Analyst II reports into the Manager, Revenue Accounting

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment

  • Education and Experience: The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 3 years:
  • In a technical role: Requires 3-5 years of finance experience engaged in delivering accounting programs
  • A bachelor’s degree in a program related to the functional area can count for 1 of the 3-year requirement

Specialized Training:

  • Training that leads to strong Excel and SAP Financials skills
  • Specialized Skillset/Competencies/Traits
  • Strong accounting skills with a focus on reconciliation of ledger accounts
  • Business acumen and also has the mindset required to understand the long-term implications of financial planning and to advance the organizations goals
  • Demonstrated history of understanding the needs of the business, stakeholders, the employee population and individual circumstances
  • Demonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive work environments

Location: This position is based at the Retail Center of Excellence in East Rutherford, NJ
