The Spa Attendant's role is to ensure that the spa facility exceeds guest expectation for cleanliness and is properly stocked with all amenities. The Spa Attendant will be aware of guest appointments and flow of business so they can be proactive in cleaning and the clearing of the locker rooms, relaxation area and hydrotherapy area after every use. The Spa Attendant will primarily service the MALE LOCKER ROOMS.
The Front Desk Supervisor plays a key role in delivering Rancho Valencia’s signature warm, intuitive, and exceptionally personalized service. This position is hands-on at the Front Desk, serving as both a leader and active participant in daily guest interactions. The Supervisor supports the Front Office leadership team by guiding Front Desk Agents, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring a seamless arrival, stay, and departure experience.
The Spa Concierge is responsible for the guest’s over all spa experience including but not limited to: scheduling and promoting spa services on the phone and in person, providing information about our service menu, products and spa facility to enhance the guests experience and promote Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa. The Spa Concierge is responsible for retail and gift card sales, charging for services provided and for giving thorough tours with detailed information to all guests so they can benefit from all aspects of the spa offerings.
The Wellness Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest experience across all wellness areas, including the Fitness Center, Movement Studio, Yoga Pavilion, Sport Court, Pilates studio, and Racquet facilities.
The Tennis Concierge uses a strong understanding of the game of Tennis in order to successfully assist in scheduling court times, match guests or member to the appropriate tennis pro and to engage in and follow the tennis conversations with members and guests. The person in this role is a primary presence in the pro shop answering phone calls, scheduling courts, ringing in retail purchases and using the electronic booking system for all court reservations, and point of sale transaction.
To provide tennis clinics and other assigned activities for 5 to 12 years old tennis camp guests. The person in this role is an expert in the game, is qualified to teach and coach and is always engaging with the guest and member. The tennis staffs are responsible for contributing to the overall tennis experience as well as being an active participant in the overall property goals of offering a unique and outstanding guest and member experience.
The Retail Associate is responsible for the sale and service of the retail operation. The person in this role is responsible for maintaining the stock levels and presentation of the merchandise. The Retail Associate should be knowledgeable of the features and benefits of all retail offerings, product sales and promotions. This person must understand how to effectively recommend products to meet the needs of our guests.
The Turndown attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of the guest rooms (interior and exterior including guest patios, entrance areas and kitchens). Turndown shifts are the afternoon shifts into evening. Other responsibilities include deep cleaning and performing special projects. Turn down attendants contribute to the resorts commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork.
The Houseperson is responsible for the cleanliness of the guest rooms interior and exterior including guest patios, entrance areas for both the resort and the villas, linen closets, stairwells, walkways, pathways, trash rooms. Other responsibilities include deep cleaning, handling guest’s requests stocking and removing linen, pressure washing, shampooing carpets, floor care and performing special projects. Houseperson contributes to the resort and villas commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork.
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and planning for lunch and dinner items. Maintains established quality standards. Knows all menus and be able to assist other employees. Is flexible and willing to perform any task to better service. Is a pace setter, motivates team members and participates actively on developing work systems to increase quality and efficiency. This position is solely in the PM from 2pm to 10:30pm

Provide professional care of hair styling for members and guests, provide uncompromised attention to quality of service and follow all protocols. Must be available on weekends.
Performs professional massage therapy and body treatments for guests and members per Rancho Valencia protocol. The Massage Therapist must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, possess a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to train in Rancho Valencia’s specific menu of spa treatments. Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness programs personalized to each of our guests. Must possess and keep current certification from the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC).
Performs professional facial and waxing services in a safe and professional manner and in accordance with Rancho Valencia protocol and California State Board requirements. Provide uncompromised attention to guest/member service. Must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, have excellent facial massage and extraction techniques, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in Rancho Valencia’s specific menu of spa treatments. Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide skincare programs personalized to each of our guests. Must hold and maintain a current California state license.
Serve as consistent point of contact for restaurant outlets. Courteously greets and escorts guests to assigned tables and assist in seating, ensuring existing standards of service. Answering phone calls as necessary with the highest level of professional language in a calm, clear and concise manner. Make, change and maintain restaurant reservations as necessary.
