Dallas-born boutique Forty Five Ten merges fashion and art, inciting the new, the unconventional, the eclectic, and the inspired.
The brand presents global luxury and emerging talent in women’s, men’s, design, and beauty.
Founded in 2000 by Brian Bolke and Shelly Musselman in Dallas, Texas, Forty Five Ten immediately established its trademark sensibility thanks to its strong roster of experimental and unconventional designers. After being acquired by Headington Companies in 2014, the brand expanded its footprint with the opening of a flagship store in the heart of downtown Dallas in 2016.
An emblem of the city’s urban renaissance, the 37,000-square-foot, four-story building features three retail levels; a top-floor restaurant and lounge; and museum-quality art throughout. The flagship, along with additional brick-and-mortar locations across Texas and California, earned Forty Five Ten the reputation as an anchor of neighborhoods on the rise.
In 2018, Headington Companies appointed Kristen Cole as Forty Five Ten President and Chief Creative Officer, setting in motion the next iteration of its growth that includes additional brick-and-mortar locations, a robust ecommerce platform, and an expansion of the retail family with the inclusion of the boutique-slash-designer incubator Tenoversix.
