I. Job Summary Pierre's, an esteemed fine dining restaurant at Morada Bay, is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals for the combined role of Food Runner and Busser. This dual-role position is essential in ensuring a seamless dining experience, working both between the kitchen and front-of-house, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.

II. Key Responsibilities

Food Runner

• Work between the kitchen and the front-of-house to deliver food to guest tables.
• Warmly greet guests, creating a hospitable and welcoming atmosphere.
• Efficiently manage the stocking of essential dining items, such as condiments and bread.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing and assist in maintaining food presentation standards.
• Attend to guest needs after food delivery, ensuring a clean and organized dining area.
• Participate in team meetings to stay informed about restaurant protocols and updates.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold a friendly, courteous demeanor.
• Proactively engage with guests to promote the restaurant's amenities and promptly address any service issues.

Busser

• Clear tables efficiently, removing tableware, napkins, and refuse, and wiping down tables and chairs.
• Ensure tables are reset quickly and to the highest standards, ready for new guests.
• Manage bus stations, ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and orderly.
• Distribute cleaned dishes, glassware, and utensils to service stations.
• Polish glassware and silverware, and inspect for cleanliness and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant, including floors and service areas.
• Retrieve and fold linens, maintaining appropriate stock levels at service stations.
• Adhere to Board of Health standards for cleanliness.
• Participate in team briefings, presenting a professional appearance.
• Uphold a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Respond positively to guest inquiries and assist in resolving any issues.

III. Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.
• Professionalism in handling guest inquiries and issues.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Professional appearance with no hand, neck, or face tattoos, and no facial piercings.
