The Chief Engineer directs all aspects of Engineering operations including emergency programs, energy management, asset protection, preventive maintenance and repairs to equipment, structures and grounds. Directs the Engineering staff, accounting/budgeting, asset protection, inventory control and human resources. The Chief Engineer directs all operations in alignment with the direction of the General Manager, Company, brand standards and local, state and national regulations. Responsible for quality service, meeting/exceeding financial goals, short and long term planning and day-to-day operations. Recommends the Engineering budget, business plan, capital expenditures and manages within approved plans and objectives.

Receive assignments, priority requests, keys and supplies from Housekeeping management. Retrieve and stock caddie/cart to ensure all supplies are available to properly clean.

Launch Driver

Champlin's is looking for launch operators for the 2023 season. Applicants must possess a valid USCG license to operate a launch vessel. Shifts will be varied to include weekends, weekdays, and evenings. There are part-time and full-time positions available. Looking for a new opportunity that includes spending your summer at the beach, making new friends and building your resume? Then look no further. The perfect seasonal job is at Champlin’s on Block Island, RI. We are a fast-paced, fun team dedicated to excellent service, working hard and enjoying life. We offer team housing at $125/week for most positions and complimentary breakfast and lunch daily. Housing spots require that you be able to work through Labor Day weekend or through September. Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer performs interior and external preventative maintenance along with mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs in compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state and local regulations. Responds to engineering service calls.Complies with all guest service basics such as uniforms, name tags and proper guest greeting. Knowledgeable on hotel facilities and services to assist guests as appropriate. Ensures all communication containing Company, hotel, brand and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices and regulations. Impresses guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner.
