Full and Part Time Guest Services Agents are responsible for greeting and registering guests and checking guests out of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
As the Front Office Manager, you would be responsible for executing your position’s responsibilities in alignment with Hilton’s vison of the light and warmth of hospitality and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards. Minimum Job Description, including but not limited to the following: • Assist in the management of all Front Office operations to include, but not limited to; guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives. • Responsible for the overall operation of the entire hotel during the evening shift to ensure guest and associates satisfaction and safety. • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff. • Handles all complaints and guest issues that may arise in the course of the shift. Monitor and react to Hilton Guest Assistance file items and see that they are resolved and property closed in the Hilton System. • Read and respond to all Trip Advisor comments in a timely manner. • Monitor use of Kipsu for second shift associates for superior guest service. • Maintain control over the staff keys assigned to MOD. • Remain calm and alert, especially during emergencies and or heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for all associates. • Know all safety, security and emergency procedures and how to act upon them. Be fully versed with statutory, fire, legal, health and safety procedures and take control in the event of an emergency. Be aware and able to enforce all fire-life-safety procedures. Remain current in all updates about new procedures and training. Ensure staff is fully trained in emergency procedures. • Tour hotel interior and exterior to ensure the property and facilities are functional, presentable to established standards and safe for guests and associates. • Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily and using sell-out strategies.• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. • Assist night auditor as needed. • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
