Responsible for overseeing the hotel’s housekeeping department and ensuring a clean and safe environment for all guests. Lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping team while ensuring all housekeeping staff follow the proper safety and sanitation standards for guest rooms and public spaces. Additional tasks include overseeing the allocation of budget and supplies for the housekeeping department and contributing to the overall satisfaction of hotel guests.
Solicit, book, plan and coordinate meetings/functions while maximizing the banquet space to meet/exceed sales goals. Utilize prospecting skills and strong business sense to consistently exceed catering revenue goals. Report all Catering activities to the Director of Catering Sales or Director of Sales & Marketing. Support all Corporate and hotel initiatives as needed.

To assist the Housekeeping Manager to supervise, direct, assist, and assure the completion of housekeeping tasks assigned to Room Attendants, Lobby Attendants and Housepersons in guest rooms, corridors and public spaces to maintain Driftwood’s high standards of cleanliness.
The Area Marketing Manager will report to the general manager of the hotels that fall under their purview and work closely with the home office and regional marketing team. In partnership with marketing, public relations, and operations executives at the hotels and home office the Area Marketing Manager will play a critical role in the development of the hotel’s overall brand/marketing plan and to achieve the revenue goals and drive awareness of each of the assigned hotels, restaurants, and bars.
