This culinary position requires good communication skills as well as at least two years of previous line and fine dining experience. A Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred. Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills including preparation of soups, sauces, stocks, frying, broiling. Candidate will be responsible for preparing menu items, prepping and stocking workstations, and maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and professional work environment.

The General Mechanic position requires a broad range of mechanical skill. Candidate must have work on kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC and refrigeration. In addition the candidate needs to be able to answer guest calls if necessary. Candidate needs at least 3 to 5 years of commercial maintenance experience. Knowledge in electrical system, kitchen, laundry and refrigeration. Facility maintenance experience is a bonus. Candidate needs to have good communication skills and be comfortable dealing with the guest. This position does have guest contact and the candidate should have hospitality skills.
The responsibilities include assisting and managing all operational departments in the hotel including but not limited to front office, housekeeping, along with meeting and event services. Assist in the day-to-day operation of the hotel front office, housekeeping or event services (banquets). Supervise the operational activities of the hotel departments including the rooms division along with event and convention services within hotel guidelines to provide the highest standard of guest experience while attaining acceptable profit levels.Assign, coordinate, and supervise work activities of agents, room attendants, house persons and servers. Ensure work is completed to include, shift closings. Prepare and conduct pre-shift meetings with various departments. Perform house counts and review daily arrivals, identify potential problems with rooms’ activity and take appropriate action. Prepare a shift briefing to communicate activities, short-term trainings, and any problems and/or special information to the next shift. Ensures proper staffing by scheduling accordingly and reacting to fluctuations in business. Coach and counsel colleagues to reflect Hyatt standards and procedures.
As Storeroom Manager you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the overall Purchasing, Receiving and Storeroom operations. In this role, you will establish operating procedures with the Executive Chef and ensure that all hotel departments have adequate supplies to perform their duties in an efficient manner. You should be able to work closely with managers and employees throughout the hotel and maintain compliance with all related local and corporate policies and procedures pertaining to the purchasing function. This role is not limited to duties such as receiving in all incoming product and guest packages, shipping packages, overseeing all receivables into the storeroom, keeping inventories according to established standards, conducting month end inventories, working with vendors and Accounts Payable and the like.
