The Senior Manager, Consumer & Digital Communications - Asia Pacific will support the Asia Pacific Director, Consumer & Digital Communications in partnering with senior management to develop a full range of creative communication strategies and initiatives to support the company’s commercial and brand strategic priorities (both globally and regionally). This includes strategies and tactics for owned/earned and paid for media across the portfolio of 185 owned/managed/franchised hotels in APAC and the 300 in the pipeline.

What will I be doing?

As Senior Manager, Consumer & Digital Communications - Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Responsible for supporting consumer and digital communications plan for APAC – tied to both global business goals and the APAC regional strategy.
  • Will work with the director level position to support the amplification of brand communications and hotel level communications in APAC. Help create and manage new channels of communicating with the company’s audiences, being more creative with the content being produced and enabling stronger engagement with target audiences.
  • Build relationships with key business partners including manager and director level members of the brands and commercial services teams.
  • Responsible for alignment with global brand and portfolio PR teams to ensure consistency and collaboration for public relations for APAC. Also working closely with the regional corporate communications team.
  • Provide insight from brand and commercial teams to ensure consistency of messaging for APAC communications.
  • Support all relevant issues management communications in the APAC region and informs the relevant senior team and global corporate communications as appropriate e.g. Honors/OTAs.
  • Support major inbound and key source market press trip planner for key destinations across APAC - supporting regional marketing objectives.
  • Support business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the Comms department for APAC.
  • Support key global initiatives as appropriate and agreed with the leadership group.
  • This role aims to manage at least one direct report.
  • Responsible for overseeing day-to-day activity providing guidance, support, assessing performance and managing the development.
  • It is also aimed to provide support of hotel based communications teams across the region.
  • Accountable for return on invested capital and time resources.
  • Responsible for communications work across cultures and markets.
  • Have visibility of APAC consumer PR spend, ensuring budgets are adhered to.

A Senior Manager, Consumer & Digital Communications - Asia Pacific serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

  • University level qualification in communications/digital communications related degree.
  • Professional certificates in communications/digital communications related degree (preferred).
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in digital communications and project management.
  • Three or more years of management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Abreast of current trends in digital marketing and communications.
  • Excellent understanding of what makes a compelling, functional website that is brand consistent and supports the company’s objectives.
  • Knowledge of content management systems, web design, architecture and usability.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple, high-level projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
