What will I be doing?
As a Business Manager Sales & Marketing you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Oversee the on-site Sales and Marketing Administration and Business Operations. Assist Corporate Headquarters Business Management in monitoring Sales and Marketing Operations to improve processes, procedures and programs. As a business partner to the Management of the Sales Gallery, the Business Manager will participate in monitoring actual cost versus budgeted expenditures for operation. Assist the Business Administration Team with tracking reports, projections & financial analysis as needed. Attend key financial/management meetings.
Prepares Sales and Marketing Forecasts as needed. Special Projects as assigned by Management.
Ensures that the Sales Center is operating within budgeted numbers. Develops and analyzes reports/tools for Sales & Marketing management.
Ensures that the integrity of the reports is maintained. Reconciles reports and tests them for accuracy. Interacts with various departments within the organization to maintain the integrity of the data (ie Accounting, FP&A, Cognos team, IT, Marketing, etc)
Runs and creates ad-hoc reports as needed for management to aid in decision-making and monitoring of various aspects of business.
Works with Accounting to create, reconcile and analyze month end operating financials.
Assists in the creation of annual budgets and weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts.
Assists in the creation and communication of compensation plans and targets. Works with Compensation and Payroll to resolve any employee pay discrepancies. Oversees proper documentation, calculation and payment of variable pay including commisisons, bonuses, spiffs and contests.
Codes all invoices for payment and insures that Company Purchasing Guidelines are followed and proper approvals are received. Submits invoices to Accounts Payable for processing and researches any payable-related issues.
Performs profitability analysis of new and potential programs or partners
