About This Job

  • Greets guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition
  • Reviews arrival list daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities
  • Escort VIPs to room and check them in prior to arrival
  • Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1 year in Front Desk Operations
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations
  • Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
  • Excellent time management skills

Our Hotel

We are perfect when traveling on business, planning a meeting or social event, or enjoying the area’s best shopping, dining and entertainment. Our property was originally built in 1915 as a 5-story office building. It was later meticulously renovated with an addition of 11 stories and converted into a hotel reminiscent of the finest European hotels of the time. Several historic elements including the original exterior and iron staircase located in the lobby were kept intact.
