The Concierge is an expert in handling a variety of critical guest needs. Whenever possible, the Concierge is expected to strive to make the impossible achievable for our guests by relying on contacts with local merchants and service providers. They must demonstrate their knowledge of the attractions, nightlife, and special services of the surrounding area in order to enhance the stay of our guests. This position will answer questions or make arrangements on items such as transportation, restaurant reservations, interesting places to visit or health and beauty services, cultural events, religious worship, childcare, shopping, florists, and any other needs. The role will also give directions to meetings and events within the hotel as well as explain hotel facilities. Finally, they're expected to assist guests with receipt of facsimiles, mail, messages and packages and help them process such communications and shipments.
• Customer service experience preferred 1-2 years.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Familiar with local area and attractions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
• Prefer typing of 55 words per minute minimum.
Airport badging not required.
