The Estes Park Resort in Estes Park, Colorado is currently seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager.
In the role of Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for selling and servicing events, as well as groups with sleeping rooms. This position works closely with the General Manager and Corporate Food and Beverage Director in contract negotiations and servicing groups as it relates to catering and convention services. Primary sales efforts are in Banquet Food, Beverage and Meeting Room Rental and may include menu planning, agenda setting, hotel meeting services, hospitality amenities, and special VIP requests. Duties also include contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent staff to ensure a high level of service. Sales Managers also host hotel tours, maintain strong customer relationships, participate and may lead event meetings and work as a team member with the sales and catering staff. Ensures a high quality of service, sets weekly schedules in conjunction with Department Heads, maintains records, greets guests, trains staff, and orders supplies.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, analyze, and clearly communicate goal and achievements, as well as problems and solutions, to hotel staff and upper management. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to build a strong and successful organization through leadership and teamwork.
