About This Job

Job Summary

The Concierge is responsible for ensuring a wonderful guest experience through excellent customer service. This position plays an integral role in the guest's stay as the Concierge is often one of the first individuals that a guest interacts with.

Duties & Functions

Greeting guests with friendly and sincere welcome

Providing information and assistance to guests regarding city and hotel attractions or points of interest

Booking reservations for guests both within the hotel and at outside facilities

Set up impressive amenities for VIP guests or guests celebrating special occasions

Interact with other departments to ensure that all guest’s needs are supremely satisfied

Proactively work to improve the hotel experience for our guests

Maintain knowledge of local area including social, cultural, historical, and physical attractions as well as their location and hours of operation

Maintain knowledge of local restaurants and theater/musical productions. Arrange reservations/tours as requested for guests. Make meaningful recommendations for local restaurants and attractions.

All other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications & Standards

Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
