About This Job

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for conducting QA audits of hotel facilities assuring company standards are maintained and product integrity is preserved. 

Inspections take place once a month.  Properties are provided with monthly scores and corrective procedures including training to improve standards and maintain all Heritage Hotels at exceptional levels.

Duties

  • Maintain the quality and reliability of our hotels in both cleanliness and property conditions in both front and back of house.  Including sleeping rooms, meeting rooms, outlets, back of house, all department storage and offices, public restrooms, kitchens, grounds, exterior building, Lobby, Spas, Gift Shops, etc.
  • Work cohesively with all Executive Housekeepers, Supervisors and Housekeeping Teams
  • Collaborative with management in the development and implementation of continuous improvement plans
  • Ensure all procedures within the company conform to safety standards
  • Ensure that all Hotels are following Company Standards on all products
  • Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), company policies and procedures
  • Provide Corporate with Reports on Quality Assurance Progress at all Hotels
  • Implement standard Ordering Processes
  • Inventory Controls and Par Levels are in Place including Linen, Amenities, Cleaning Supplies, Back-Up Inventory, etc.
  • Work with Heritage University to roll out and train staff on new policies and/or procedures to include any new QA inspection companies and or processes
  • Ability to be a resource in the field to cover any vacancies short term in the housekeeping and rooms departments
  • Follows all Blue Water Linen Procedures
  • Monitor Labor Costs per room
  • Develop Training and Inspection Programs
  • Interacts closely with General Managers, Regional Vice Presidents and designated Corporate staff

Necessary Skills:

  • At least 3-5 years prior experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Quality Assurance Manager
  • A proven track record training and motivating employees
  • Ability to improve Property Cleanliness and Property Conditions
  • Proficient at Microsoft office
  • Understanding of all revenue generating and revenue impacting opportunities
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills
