Looking for NEW Hyatt Place Anchorage Opening Director of Sales.
Be part of the opening team for the newest hotel to hit Anchorage. We are looking for an outgoing Director of Sales to join our team. Prior hotel sales experience is required.Must have a vibrant and dynamic personality with A LOT of energy and a sincere passion for this position. The Director of Sales will assist the General Manager with all Sales and Marketing related items to successful open our Hyatt Place, Anchorage. After opening the Director of Sales will maintain and/or improve occupancy levels and revenue production of the hotel in accordance with sales business plan by managing the sales process and completing all duties pertaining to daily operation success. The DOS will work hand in hand to represent the Hyatt Brand, InGroup Hospitality, and community as a whole. This position will help increase awareness through participation in hotel hosted functions, as well as offsite events throughout the community.The Director of Sales will help support General Manager, and Assistant Manager to ensure guest loyalty is maintained by efficiently seeing to details of client events/groups.Strong communications skills, familiar with high quality guest service, ability to present themselves and product to prospective clients in a professional manner, and must be able to work in a high volume/time sensitive environment.
