Our Global HR team partners with our business leaders to attract, retain, and develop Hilton's most important asset, our Team Members.


What will I be doing?

As a Senior Manager, you will lead a team of excellent recruiters focused on recruiting for Hilton’s Commercial Services Functions. Working closely with your HR partners, Recruitment leaders and your peers you will develop your team to execute against Hilton Recruitment’s metrics with a focus on strategic recruitment support for your clients and an extraordinary candidate experience for all internal and external applicants. In addition to leading a team the Sr. Manager will carry a load of requisitions at the Director level and/or hard to fill positions. You will also be responsible for effectively preparing and presenting QBRs to recruitment leadership and your clients. Finally, as the Senior Manager you will be the project point person for large scale strategic programs and recruiting efforts.


More specifically, you will:
  • Lead, mentor and coach the recruiters on the team, and serve as the point for client and candidate issues in recruitment.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Recruitment team; knowledgeable of systems, technology, and processes, as well as hiring implications of industry changes and economy.
  • Define expectations for the kinds of talent needed for today and the future. Work closely with the sourcing team to define pipelines of talent and design processes for effectively handling the flow of informational interviews.
  • Lead candidate forecasting, pipelining and requisition management processes; audit and analyze data to ensure efficient and effective recruiting techniques are being utilized and basic recruitment metrics are being met.
  • Ensure excellent internal customer service, responding to inquiries from client leaders, HR, L&D, and peers.
  • Partner with clients during special projects to gain insight on business challenges or changes.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will support the goals of the business, as well as new processes or standards for recruiting to deliver the highest quality results to the client and improve our candidate experience.



Requirements

  • Successfully support Corporate Function roles within Hilton

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Seven (7) years spent recruiting in a corporate environment
  • Five (5) years working in a role requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills including skills in PowerPoint and excel
  • Five (5) years using critical thinking, problem solving, good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Five (5) years spent successfully meeting tight deadlines, while adapting to changing priorities, and working well under pressure
  • Five (5) years of strong organizational experience, along with detail-orientated, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Two (2) years spent managing a team of two (2+) or more recruiters in a managerial capacity
  • Two (2) years working in an OFCCP compliant recruiting environment
  • One (1) year of ATS system experience, preferably Taleo

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Four (4) years of leading and motivating a team as a senior leader
  • Experience presenting to large groups and driving enterprise wide programs
