The Landscaping Manager will be responsible for overall landscape maintenance and supervision of staff for the Resort.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:


  • Organization and time management skills in addition to the ability to handle multiple projects and meet all planned deadlines and goals.
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to excel in a team environment
  • Follow budgets, ensuring completion of work within approved dollar amounts
  • Coordinate procurement of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials
  • Solid background and practical knowledge of various facets of Landscaping, Lawn and Ornamental, Grounds Maintenance
  • Ability to apply pesticides and chemicals according to safety standards once trained; Texas Certified Pesticide Applicators license preferred.,
  • Monitor irrigation system and pump systems (where applicable), repair minor problems, and report malfunctions; provide technical assistance when required.




Qualifications

  • 5 years related garden/landscaping experience; prior supervisory oversight helpful.

  • Experience with or knowledge of Texas annuals and perennials preferred; knowledge of irrigation systems and other water features desirable.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills; basic computer skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; walk/stand/stoop/bend frequently and repeatedly in the garden in all weather conditions.

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Bilingual - fluent in both English and Spanish a huge plus
