The ideal candidate for The Irons has the desire to create innovative cocktails as well as the ability to deliver our wine and craft beer program to our guests and local community that will have them coming back for more!
With our new restaurant concept, qualified candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in the beverage industry.
Familiarity with what's happening in the beverage world as well as the ability to recognize trends and the impact they will have in creating our niche in the community, will also be a trait we are looking for.

Nicknamed in honor of one of Mystic’s most storied Seaport craftsman, Irons and Grinnell Shipbuilders, The IRONS design evokes its local maritime heritage, incorporating the building materials and color schemes that have punctuated Mystic’s practical balance of function and form for generations. Reclaimed shiplap, brick, iron, floor planks, and canvas frame a bold architectural plan, balanced by the warmth of oversized fireplaces, tufted leather booths, communal tables, and Windsor chairs. An open-air courtyard donned with gas-flamed fire pits, sofa seating, and color-changing rope lighting is a year round gathering spot for those interested in experiencing the new Mystic. Alternative dining areas of the restaurant, including the new stone slab bar, a multitude of large hi-def TVs, historic images and art, and a music performance area complete a space destined to be the social hub in the heart of Mystic.
