What you will be doing

You will be working in a fast paced environment, challenging you to meet daily operation requirements while working on greater organization initiatives. As Director, your team includes a Payroll Manager, HRIS Analyst and administrative support personnel. 

*This position is based out of our Corporate Office in Cranston, RI. Little to no travel is required.*

Duties include

  • Provide direction to 40+ Human Resources / Payroll field representatives in a decentralized environment.
  • Develop and oversee the administration of policies and procedures to ensure TPG remains compliant with all federal, state, local rules and regulation, in addition to Hospitality specific issues.
  • Responsible for recommending process improvements and leading initiatives related to EDI/data integration, workflows, workforce analytics and dashboards.
  • 401(k) administration
  • Work collaboratively with TPG's HR team to develop comprehensive on-boarding, training and development materials for new payroll field administrators.

The ideal candidate for this position

  • BS in Accounting, HR or related business field.
  • CPP, CEBS, or CCP preferred
  • Prior leadership experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of configuration with Ultimate Software products
  • Minimum 5 years of combined senior/advanced level experience in Payroll, Accounting and/or HR function
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing multi-state, multi-FEIN payroll taxes
  • Prior project management experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
