Work closely with the Front Office Team to block and coordinate guest room assignments in order to maximize revenue and efficiencies based on guest arrival and departure patterns, In addition to assigning show rooms, preparing express check-ins, interacting with Sales Managers regarding the proper handling of special groups, interacting with Housekeeping regarding VIP arrivals and expediting rooms, running various reports, and making individual reservations as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitoring all special requests from Honors Members and Non Honors Members on a daily basis.
Assist With Front Desk with Digital Key if needed
Reviewing and inputting credit card authorizations to ensure all pertinent information is correct.
Prepare keys for groups with special requests such as pre-key
Inspect rooms for VIP arrivals
Balance the house inventory
Pre-assign all Premium rooms and Suites
Review CRM Report and Service Recoveries
Track Honors Enrollments
Prepare Huaying List for room service and Housekeeping
Prepare any special SRP Packages
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. Excellent communications skill, strong knowledge of the Los Angeles area and the desire to help and assist others. Background in Front Desk, Customer Service, and /or Hospitality is preferred.
This job requires ability to perform the following:
Frequently standing up behind the desk and front office areas
Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 15 pounds
Handling objects, products and computer equipment
Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees.
Reading and writing abilities are utilized daily.
Basic math skills are used very frequently.
Problem solving, reasoning, motivating and training abilities are often used.
Must be available to all shifts ie, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
