Job overview....

Based on needs of HVMG owned, managed and consulted hotels the Task Force Director of Human Resources will be deployed to designated hotel to assist on any / all specific projects outlined prior to and during deployment.

This role may require direct supervision from multiple people to accomplish the desired results. Candidate shall possess ability to take direction, clarify and effectively communicate concerns as well as balance direction to achieve desired results.

This is an Atlanta based position, however may be deployed throughout the portfolio for short or long term assignment. Requires the ability to travel with short notice, and work at least 10 business days straight at a property before a four day off period (10 on, 4 off).

While on any particular assignment, the primary goal is to create a collaborative partnership with our General Manager by providing leadership, management and consistency of all functions of the Human Resources department, in accordance with hotel standards. Directs, implements and maintains a service and management philosophy which serves as a guide to respective staff.

The position may also help with onboarding new properties, training new HR leaders and contacts, recruiting and/or other HR projects assigned.

What you will be doing..

Assuming the day to day activities of the Human Resources office at the hotel where assigned; including but not limited to overseeing the hotel’s payroll, recruitment, onboarding and other support services including all training programs utilized by the hotel(s) and brand. In addition responsible for optimizing employee labor relations, handling employee disputes, and working with outside advisors as necessary to ensure a strong employee relations culture.


Location: Atlanta, constant travel.


  • 5 plus years of human resource leadership experience - hotels.

  • Multi- property experience 

  • Hotel operations management experience - Preferred.

  • SPHR/PHR - SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP - Preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University.
