What will I be doing?
As a VIP Reservations Agent you will be responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • Call open Hawaii Vacation Introductory Package (HVIP) guests to verify details, answer questions, and attempt to lock in dates for their open-dated package
  • Provide full customer/concierge services to all guests including the selling of tours and activities
  • Assist in the implementation and tracking of current and future marketing programs, according to the standards of professionalism adhered to by the Hilton Corporation
  • Assist guests with inquiries related to the package they have already purchased and information regarding their upcoming vacation
  • Provide complete and accurate information to guests on every telephone call or electronic communication, especially information about tour presentation, accommodations, premiums, and promotions
  • Complete fulfillment VIP package processing, room reservations, tour booking and charging credit cards
  • Meet minimum production standards for activations
  • Distribute only Hilton Grand Vacations authorized information, collateral, and materials
  • Work with Resort Operations to resolve any accommodation issue
  • Notify manager of any shortages in collateral in timely manner
  • Ensure the privacy and security of confidential information about our guest and our company
  • Handle situations with dissatisfied guests
  • Assist management with special projects
  • Comply with all reasonable requests put forth by management
Qualifications

  • Related work experience
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks 
  • Able to work in a timely manner, critically think, and work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • High level of bilingual fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English and Japanese 
  • High school/ GED 
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Sales experience
  • Call center experience
  • 3 months customer service experience
  • Thorough understanding  of Hawaii with the ability to explain activities, restaurants, and destinations
