The Marketing Manager will design and develop creative and strategic social media, and online marketing campaigns to gain brand awareness, increase sales conversions and improve customer engagement while being true to the brand and authentic in our tactics, inspiring the California Dreamer in everyone.
The ideal candidate is a creative producer with boundary-pushing ideas and are constantly educating yourself on current platforms and best practices. They are comfortable overseeing and executing ideas from conception to final product in a largely autonomous role. They schedule, plan and calendar all ideas to present in an organized and digestible visual presentation in the voice and visual style of the brand. They consistently meet all creative, production, and meeting deadlines.
STRATEGY, REPORTING AND ANALYTICS
Conduct routine research to understand competitors as it relates to content and social media strategy
Develop and maintain program to run strategic like-minded brand social partnerships to increase brand exposure to new audiences
Drive strategy for all social channels, with clear understanding of how to target relevant audience segments through which content format and on which platforms. Including but not limited to: frequency, channel, visual content, hashtag keywords, use of emojis, video vs static imagery.
Provide social weekly & monthly reporting highlighting engagement, follower growth and top performing content with thoughtful analysis of the data
Manage our community and audience by actively answering questions and concerns posted on our social channels, engaging with comments, reaching out to users and brands talking about us and not following us, and celebrating our brand followers and advocates through UGC program
Increase customer engagement through non-paid channels and campaigns
Stay abreast of social user trends and shifting behavior to be a social trendsetter
CREATIVE AND CONTENT
Maintain accurate, consistent, and relevant content across all digital channels. Help produce and curate compelling, brand-aligned content.
Create, update and maintain company’s social media platforms & promotions (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube,etc.) with timely, relevant content that also reflects current trends and help drive revenue and engagement
Proactively and confidently provide creative ideas for new social media and marketing efforts to increase brand awareness
Conduct content photo shoots for website, sales teams and social media
Own social content calendar as well as social content tookits
Leverage social platforms to source UGC that can be repurposed for brand awareness and organic brand communications with view to increase engagement
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field and at least 2 years of marketing experience.
Possess passion for digital marketing and proactively seek to keep learning by keeping up with the latest in customer marketing technologies, trends, innovations and best-practices to drive creative and high performing digital marketing strategies and programs.
Experience managing Facebook Admanager, PPC, SEO, and affiliate programs
Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices
Experience managing social media, influencer marketing and online communities
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional work environment
Deep understanding of digital platforms and analytics.
Experience with Instagram and Facebook marketing.
Photography, photo editing and design skills.
Think strategically and has the ability to design and execute successful social strategies
Strong written and visual communication skills, with experience developing multiple narrative directions for various online platforms.
