The Assistant Operations Manager, Roving (Food and Beverage + Event Services) will be a hybrid roll assisting with leadership in both departments. The Assistant Operations Manager will oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel. Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. The Assistant Operations Manager, Food and Beverage must have strong communication and analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful.
The Assistant Operations Manager will also jump in with responsibilities for managing banquet events at the hotel. This person supervises event room set-ups, service, and maintenance of all banquet functions and banquet equipment. This role is a highly detailed role within the hotel to complete event requirement and create an appealing experience for guests.
