What will I be doing?
Hilton Grand Vacations is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Network Engineer
to join a team responsible for our company's Global Network and all associated devices, including LAN/WAN hardware, circuits, WiFi, firewalls and others associated with enterprise systems. As a Network Engineer, you would work with peers to design, engineer and operate Hilton Grand Vacations network. The ideal candidate would understand how various aspects of network systems work together to provide service to a large user base. Job Responsibilities:
• Support the life cycle of converged network technologies.• Identify and resolve important issues or problems in area of responsibility. • Analyze data and effectively use problem-solving skills. • Create and effectively communicate network standards and procedures to a variety of audiences.• Manage the hardware and software life cycle for footprint of network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, and related systems).• Research and recommend next-gen network technology, products & services• Develop standard, procedures and other reference documentation to guide the various technology stakeholders throughout the enterprise.• Provide day-to-day support, proactive maintenance, and perform system troubleshooting. Identify capacity and performance issues to ensure uninterrupted service.• Understand business strategy and design technical solutions to facilitate/aid execution of business strategy.• Assist in the development and maintenance of all network communications up to the application layer.• Consult peer groups in the development of project plans, hardware/software road maps, and refresh plans• Analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of routers, switches, load balancers and firewalls

• Proficient with common routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, static routes, route maps, NAT/PAT, PIM SM)• Experience with Network Quality of Service (QOS) including IP precedense, DSCP and COS, Policing, Shaping, troubleshooting• Knowledge of Virtual Private Networks (VPN)• Expert level knowledge of the OSI model and common network protocols.• Experience with developing network/security policies, procedures and documentation.• Knowledge of IPV4, IPV6, HSRP/VRRP, OSPF v2, BGP v4, MPLS and VRF• Associate's Degree• 3-5 years of related experienceIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:• ITIL Experience• Experience with WAN optimization technologies.• Experience with F5 implemenatation, support and monitoring.• Expert level knowledge in Lan switching – Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms, particularly Nexus 9k, 7k, 5k, 2k and Cat4500, 3650, 3560X• Experience with Cisco ISR/ASR• Experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controller• Experience with Cisco ASA• BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree• 5-7 years of related experience• CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, or F5-CA certification
