Parks Hospitality Group is seeking a highly enthusiastic experienced hotelier to join our team as Director of Sales for the new-build Tru by Hilton Nashville-Franklin. The Tru by Hilton Nashville-Franklin will have 135 guestrooms featuring essential business amenities including Hilton’s four-zone lobby with work spaces, in-room entertainment, a 24/7 market, and a modern fitness center. The DOS is responsible for the overall revenue performance for the hotel. This position is responsible for developing and executing aggressive and proactive sales and marketing plans for all market segments along with managing sales department associates. This position will act with significant coordination with the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, General Manager and Revenue Manager to develop effective sales and revenue management strategies.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement and support Parks Hospitality Group’s Sales Culture and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Responsible for meeting/exceeding budgeted revenues and RevPAR performance.
  • Responsible for training and mentoring all sales staff and indirect sales staff members.
  • Must have complete understanding of all market segments and be able to read and analyze STAR report.
  • Work with GM to produce accurate revenue forecasts.
  • Leads completion of annual business planning process in coordination with hotel General Manager.
  • Conducts weekly sales meetings with GM and sales support team and maintain meeting notes.
  • Develop and execute effective sales actions plans by segment.
  • Prepare and execute effective marketing plan that encompasses all key market segments.
  • Actively participate in weekly revenue meetings to develop effective pricing strategies.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all brand requirements including training, special offers and RFP’s.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding individually and team revenue production goals.
  • Maintains pro-active selling approach to all assigned segments and honors key selling hours.
  • Ensures designated sales system ) compliance for all sales members.
  • Ensure individual and sales team sales call goals are met and maintain accurate records.
  • Create and execute effective sales action plan and actively participate in weekly sales meetings.
  • Maintain high visibility within the community to promote hotel.
  • Responsible for communicating all sales matters relevant to each department within the hotel.
  • Maintain current and accurate sales files.
  • Must have exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.
