The Ski and Ride School Childcare Supervisor coordinates the day to day functions of SRS Childcare.  Major duties will include maintaining the safety and supervision of children within the facilities care; and ensuring that the children and their parents are satisfied with their overall experience. The supervisor will forecast how many children have enrolled in childcare for the day, and communicate with our sales manager when childcare is full for the day.  Other desired qualifications include superior interpersonal skills, understanding of the growth and development of children 2 months to 6 years old, efficient organizational skills, and the understanding of business principles.


  • To provide a safe, pleasant environment and attentive child care for the children during the absence of their parents with an emphasis on the children’s emotional, physical, and social needs.
  • Be aware of each child’s specific needs; allergies, injuries, etc.
  • To effectively deal with children who have a particularly difficult time adjusting to their new surroundings.
  • To maintain safety and supervision of all children enrolled in childcare.
  • To perform daily child care duties, including but not limited to feeding, changing diapers and all other basic needs of the children.
  • Keeping an accurate list of records.
  • Ensure that guests are satisfied with their experience. Continue to improve overall guest satisfaction. Investigate and resolve guests complaints
  • Maintain Wee Willie’s in a clean, orderly, safe condition.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and staff.

Other Duties:

  • Maintain a friendly, professional and congenial attitude while effectively caring for the children and working with parents, guests, and other employees.
  • Report and correct, if possible any unsafe conditions which may affect employee or public safety.
  • Set a positive example for all childcare employees.
  • Work throughout the child care as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as directed.



  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)


  • Computer and scheduling experience
  • Experience working with young children.


One year (+) supervisory/coordinator experience in children's ski/sb school operations


  • Demonstrated and documented effective leadership and management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Efficient and effective organizational skills

  10. Kneeling to help dress children, occasionally (less than 1/3 of the time)
  11. Handling placement of signs, slalom poles; occasionally (less than 1/3 of the time)
  12. Constant communication
