Position Summary:
Heritage Hotels is passionate about telling the unique stories of New Mexico through each of its unique properties. All have their own individual stories to share with guests and tell of the amazing cultural and artisanal histories experienced within each hotel property. Design leads Heritage’s direction in all aspects of the brand. As designers with Heritage, we curate the New Mexican lifestyle by combining the rich historical narratives with the essence of our brand. Candidates should be able to combine a creative mindset with strategic thinking, and have the ability to engage with owners, department leaders, project managers, multiple disciplines and internal stakeholders. As a design team, we assist in conceptualizing and developing design, making sure each of our hotels stay true to their individual stories, while helping to celebrate and add to the overall parent company of Heritage Hotels.
At the project level, a successful Sr. Interior Designer provides design guidance via informal and formal reviews thru the lens of the brand, and also ensure that design standards are adhered to both programmatically and for quality. Candidate will work on a variety of hospitality design projects, as well as food and beverage, retail, and entertainment settings. Collaboration, commitment, and cooperation are all attributes that are a must for fostering relationships that permit great solutions. Overall, design work occurs in a creative atmosphere where the expectation is to add value to create great products and experiences.
